Tigerstate visuals
Freelance work - 2022-2023
I was commissioned by the Norwegian music collective Tigerstate to create visuals for a couple of their releases and their ØYA performance in 2023.
The ØYA festival is one of Norway’s largest festivals, so it was a privilege to be asked by Tigerstate to create visuals for their ØYA performance. I designed a set of animated loops that fit with different ‘chapters’ Tigerstate had set for their performance. Tigerstate is a collective of musicians that play a large variety of music and the visuals reflected just that.
Before this, I worked on end credit sequence for their music video for “Back To You”. I wanted to match the style of the video, while showcasing the big collective of musicians. My contribution starts at 3:18.
I was also commissioned to help create a lyric video for their singles “Besserwisser” and “Sunrise”. The footage used in the video was filmed and edited by Herman Friis, and my task was to create the graphics for the video. The band found that the visual style of the end credits above was a good fit for their identity, so they wanted to continue in that style.
